Delta's partnership with the American Cancer Society has spanned over 20 years , raising over $20 million through a number of grassroots employee initiatives. Delta’s Relay for Life and Jet Drag events, which together annually have over 8,500 participants, collectively raised $3M for the organization in 2024.
Since 2005, Delta employees and customers have raised over $34 million for Breast Cancer Research Foundation, including a record-breaking $5M during the 2024 campaign. 为了拉开“10月份乳腺癌意识月”的序幕，达美标志性的粉色飞机在“乳腺癌一号”幸存者航班上运载了超过150名乳腺癌幸存者员工。

Each year, Delta supports United Way, opens in a new window with employee, customer and corporate contributions. Among Delta’s senior leaders, there is a 100 percent participation rate in giving to United Way. In 2024, Delta people raised $2.5 million for the organization.

Delta people’s steadfast commitment to life-giving blood drives made the airline the No. 1 corporate blood drive sponsor of the American Red Cross for an eighth consecutive year, with employees, retirees and customers contributing a record 16,178 units of blood in fiscal year 2025 (FYE 6/30).
